back home but not for too long...

11.December 2008 - Herdecke, Germany

Since I got home from my year in Australia (best time ever!!!!) in September, I've been missing it heaps but I had some good times being back home with my family, visiting mates....
Just after I returned to Germany Julie and I went to Poland (Bielin) to see Annique and go riding and the three of us spend a wknd in Berlin. I visited Annique in Berlin again in November and went to uni with her to get an insightview on studying (agriculture) and I actually liked it more than I would have thought.
Still longing for Australia though I'd already made up my mind to go back to Australia to enrol at an Agriculture College in Longreach (Queensland Outback) and do a course in horse trainng, managing, breeding and husbandry (Certificate 3 in agriculture (horse breeding)) as I not only love horses but the Australian countrylife as well. During my time in Australia I got to work with (young) horses a fair bit and gained so many new experiences and somethings are quite different to what I thought I knew about them before... I also always wanted to go to Ag College ever since I read my favorite book 'Jillaroo' by Rachael Treasure, lol.
Although I'm starting to feel more comfortable at home again, getting used to most of the things pretty good, I'm still really looking forward to going back to Australia. Actually I can't bloody wait for the 12th of January to come... that's when my plane is going to take off to Brissy. YEY
Another great event was the Katy Perry concert in Collogne where I went with my sis Franny and 3 friends. We had a really good time, Fran who adores Katy was so happy about seeing her and getting to talk to her and we got to take several pictures with Katy. She is absolutly likable and really ROCKS!!!
And last but not least the first snow which I enjoyed with my dog Hermes in November. I hadn't seen any snow for nearly two years and was so excited.. it was bloody cold tho!
Now that christmas is coming closer, I've got heaps to do with getting my presents and travelstuff organised. Last wknd I had to take the IELTS test which I've hopefully passed!!! I suppose that's why I'm writing pretty formal... oO
So I think that's about it! Of course I could go on writing stuff that's happening for quite a while but yea... there are other things to do.. so if you wanna know more, just talk to me, hey..
I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Talk 2 ya later... xoxo your wannabe cowgirl anny*
