hehe, the son of my Dunedin host was complaining that an Irish lady came over and said everything looked "Just like the rung of Kirry" yep, I'm still amused by the accent even months in!

Anywho - went to see Macraes gold mine since they had a free open day (although I didn't have a ticket so it was a "gold coin donation" (a typical term for $1 donation) lol, I was the only one who thought that was funny coming from a gold mine. No one else noticed xD

We also went to see Tunnel Beach- apparently some rich guy carved this out of the hillside in consideration for his daughters going to the beach and not being quite so exposed. It's pretty cool - a lot of work and effort into that tunnel considering the beach is very small and rocky! Quite a unique place though.

Now I'm in Bluff but I only arrived today so I can't comment on it yet.

PS - Heard an advert on the radio for Cactus Security, their chirpy little jingle and motto was "Keep the pricks on the outside" lol.
