I started off the week feeling fairly low, but things are looking up again :) The pub quiz yesterday was fun and I met some people there who live in Bluff (Bluff has a noticeable community spirit I think), and today I went to a free event (with free food!! Woo!) about possum killing, and those same people were there again and invited me to their house tomorrow for morning tea and a bit of a look round. :)

That's the thing about Kiwis - they're amazing at that. You meet someone for ten minutes and they invite you back to their house!

So that's exciting stuff. In Bluff. You'd think being such a small, close community there'd be a risk of potential cliqueyness, but luckily they're just all really friendly :)
