Welcome to america phil! on 4th august we picked up our fourth mate phil from las vegas airport and in the evening went exploring onto the strip. tony one of our previous campground managers had given us a few tips on how to enjoy las vegas and so we knew about an off-menu deal for an all you can eat ribs in the hard rock hotel and took full advantage of it. next stop was the las vegas strip. we saw the main tourst attractions (belagio, venetian and treasure island) but were left mostly disappointed of an all-too artificial city.

Wilkommen an bord phil! am 4. august sammelten wir am flughafen von las vegas unseren vierten reisepartner phil ein und anschließend gingen wir die stadt erkunden. dank eines tipps von tony, einem früheren campground manager, wussten wir von einem deal im hard rock hotel und aßen dort für nur 10 dollar all-you-can-eat: spareribs: sehr lecker. vollgestopft gings dann auf den strip wo wir uns die dortigen sehenswürdigkeiten ansahen (belagio, venician, treasure island), allerdings waren wir eher enttäuscht von las vegas welches einfach viel zu gekünzelt und kitschig wirkt.
