in preparation for the trip I was trying to buy new shorts. I was going to buy the Fjall Raven Karl shorts. Since I live in a big city with more than 1.000.000 people I thought I'd go to that outdoort supplier, try them on, buy them and leave the store. It was supposed to be a 15min event. That's what I thought. In the store I find exactly one shorts left, not in my size. I asked the guy that works there if they are still available in my size and his reply is kind of strange: "Sorry, they are out. Summer is almost over!" I looked at him in surprise since it's 26 June. The season summer started 5 days ago, not to mention that outside were 10 degrees C. So I went to another store. Same thing. Sold out. At home I checked different online stores. Sold out almost everywhere. WTF!!! So I will try a different model tomorrow, just for checking the size, because I feel that the size of the one I have is a little bit too big, and then order them online somewhere where they are available.
Shorts sold out in June. They must be kidding.
