In Cochin we had our best hotel stay in India with WESTERN comfort and cleanliness. We booked backwater tours gor the next day right away. Being on a boat out in the backwaters is probably the most relaxing thing you can do anywhere in India. The food was delicious and I got to teach one of these speaking birs my name. What a lovely day of complete relaxation which we really needed after THAT exam period in Singapore...
