Third Week

28.January 2013 - Kingsgrove, Sydney

Another Week has passed! After an exhausting but awsome surf weekend, I was really keen on sports - I didn't make a lot of sport for the last 2 Weeks, so it was plenty to pick up. Monday, I went jogging in the neighborhood, tuesday I was in the Fitness Center, Wednesday there was a football match after school in a park in the mid of Sydney and at Thursday, I had a meeting with a personal trainer in my fitness studio - last one was a little bit too much. I was very tired of all the other activities and this personal trainer showed me some new exercises, which uses power and cardio at the same moment. After 15 minutes, I was very tired, but I didn't noticed that at the first moment. So I did another 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I wasn't very comfortable after that. However, I survived ;-)

It's always hard to remember, what happened at which day last week...I'll try to write in the right way: Monday wasn't that special. Go back to school, after a Weekend at the beach like the last one, is not very easy. But school was interessting and didn't take that long.

Tuesday evening was a big Student party near Kings Cross train station. Nearly half of the school was there. It was a huge party, better than a lot I've ever experienced in Switzerland (and it was Tuesday ;-D) I'll jump over the details, just let say that some students didn't attend school next morning ;)

How I mentioned before, there was a football match after wednesday afternoon lesson. I was so happy to play again. The best thing is, that this event now take place every week - so I won't be out of form after Australia.

Thursday I was at the cinema with two friends to see Tarantinos newest movie "Django". The movie was kind of macabre and violent, but it was also very well-made and exciting! The movie theater was huge, never seen a big cinema like that. But I wanna go to the Imax at Darling Harbour as well, becaus there is the biggest Imax Screen all over the world :))

Friday I had to watch, how Federer lost his Semi-Finale against Murray. It was very dissapointing after he bounced back in the 4th set, but I think every Federer-Fan has to accept, that Murray was the right winner this day.

Saturday was a special day in Australia - it was the National Day, called "Australia Day"!! :) When I woke up at about 11 o' clock, there were about 10 people at my host families house. There should be a big barbecue party in the afternoon and the evening, however I had some different plans. I went to Coogee Beach, after had checked out what is on in the city. There were a lot of people in the whole central city area, everybody wanted to experience Australia Day near the harbour side. But step by step: In the afternoon I was with some friends from school at Coogee Beach, which is located about 1km in Souht of Bondi Beach. It was beautiful weather and there were some big waves, perfect conditions for having some fun in the water. Later, we went to the firework in Darling Harbour, a lot of people wanted to see that and so it was pretty hard to have a good sight. After that, we wanted to go to a Nightclub, but everybody had some other plans, and I didn't get into the club because I hadn't shoes that conformed with the dresscode...blablabla, I was a little bit angry, but because I wasn't very keen on dancing this night, it was not that bad. So we spend the Australia Night at Darling Harbour, discussing about different topics and having some fun! :)

The last two days were very boring. The weather is really bad at the moment. So the most of the time, you cannot do that much.

Next weekend I'm moving to the Student House. I'm very excitet to that. It seems, that I'm in the "best" house, because I know already everbody in it, and there are some good persons. I'll miss the life at my host family, because they did a lot for me, what is not naturally.

Ok, I'm going to report next weekend. Thank you for reading and have a good day!
