More swimming!

21.April 2010 - Litchfield Nat. Park

Litchfield National Park is close to Kakadu and on our last tour day we stopped at various waterfalls again. In Litchfield not every waterfall was open for swimming because of the presence of crocodiles! They wait at the bottom of the water for someone to jump in! So better not get close to the edge of the water.
There are huge termite mounds everywhere in the national park. Unbelievable how those tiny creatures can build such an impressive mountain made out of dirt, spit and poo! And it's rock hard. They told us that if you ran into it with a car, the car would be damaged!
