Picton

11.May 2010 - Picton

You always meet and talk to random People from all over the world as a Backpacker. Sometimes you get along well with them and other times you just don?t ?click?. Jill and me met an annoying guy from Austria in the Hostel in Picton who refused talking German with us. And the funny thing was his English was really horrible. Jill once tried to talk German with him, but he switched into English again after one sentence. The most funny things he said was: ?normally they have to Waschbecken? or when we were trying to cut a pumpkin he said: ?Maybe you should use a Brotschneidemaschine?.

And here?s another funny story which happened to me. When we arrived in the hostel yesterday I wanted to put our food in the fridge. So I was standing in front of a door with a code on it and for some reason I thought that was the way to the kitchen. The owner came bye and said ?oh hold one I open the door for you?. So he put the code in and guess what was?! A little room for the bed sheets and towels. I started laughing so much, that Jill could here me in our room.

After the free breakfast we lied outside on the sun, reading, chilling, talking and sleeping. In the afternoon we walked along the little harbour and went to the library to use the free internet. We had a nice dinner with rice, pumpkin and mushrooms before we watched Grey`s Anatomy. Another chilled relaxing day. Just what we both needed.
