Last day Outback

11.June 2013 - Uluru Kata Tjuta NP

Up early in the morning to see the sunrise at the Uluru. Mark had the excellent idea of having breakfast at the viewing point. So we were abke to sleep longer and enjoy the sunrise because we actually stayed till the sun was completely up which gave the rock a very nice color.
Afterwards we were dropped off to do the base walk around the Uluru. it took about 2 hrs of easy walking and spectacular landscape.
then we already had to start our journey home, On the way we stopped at a camel farm, where you could ride camels and see kangaroos.
We were home at about 6.30 pm. Later we met again for dinnervand drinks, but sadly a couple already left Alice Springs and others didn't bother coming which was sad but we still had a nice group together.
