Sightseeing

23.June 2013 - Adelaide

In the last couple of days I have done some sight seeing in the actual city. The library, the South Australian Museum and the art Gallery were all for free. And since it was raining a perfect thing to do.
I also tried to have a look into some old churches but they were all closed.
But there are a lot of old buildings at least from the outside that a re nice to look at.
I also visited the Ayers' house which was the residence of Sir Henry Ayerswho was the Premier of South Australia for quite some time. Nad Ayers Rock now called Uluru again was named after him. It was a nicely restored building.
The Japanese Garden is a very nice a calm place, I enjoyed it very much.
The free tour including some free samples throught the Haigh's chocolate factory was nice a as well.
And since the weather was good that day I took the Tram to Glenelg, which is famous for its beach.
