Part of the stop in Kalgoorlie was the visit of an old gold mine. Back from under earth we got the chance to sea some melting gold changing into a barrel of 50.000 Dollar. As well we got a little piece of gold, an ounce, but heavy for its seize and worth 1450 Dollar. Unfortunately we had to give it back ;o)
Very unbelievable the Super Pit - a huge place where they mine for gold. You can have a look in there from a hill and you can only imagine how big the machines they use are..

In the middle of the southwest loop is located the wave rock, there we went stonesurfing ;o)
