our next stop was famous Queenstown, a couple of scenery from Lord of the Rings was filmed there, so obviously I had to book a tour which is related to the movie,,So what could I book and Kerstin suggested to do horse riding, I have to say I have never sat on the back of a horse so in the first moment I did not really fancy the idea. But after phoning the stables they convinced me that even a beginner can do the RIDE OF THE RINGS. The people from the stables picked us up from Queenstown as this scenery was located appr. 50 km north of the town. Absolutely hidden away. and it was awsome, I was a bit scared but the horse I got was extremly well trained and I did not have to do much. I am not sure whether I ll do it again, but it was definitely an experience especially with that scenery.
