Well June is almost half gone and I took a lot of pictures. I have three bumcalves by now. First I had only two until we brought that calf in whichs mom died. He was kinda hard to bottlebreak him. But we did it and now he likes his bottle and his grain.
The calves sucking on the cows still grow faster then bum-calves, I like to watch them sucking. When they really want to eat they follow the cow and eat the same time (pic with the horse-ears).
What I like to watch them doing too is, when it's warm and they take a bath in their water. They look all so happy out in the big pastures. It's amazing.
Right now we have to breed all the cows, so we have to bring them all in horseback when they are hot. That's the funpart, I can play a little bit cowboy and I really really love that riding. The two riders are Craig and Deb talking about the cows.
I hope I will be back a little bit quicker next time.
