The lasts posts from user daunanderen-usBielefeld: back for good
It feels strange. Time was flying, 15 months have gone and we are back in Germany. It feels good to be back home - but why does everybody speak German and why are the cars driving on the wrong side of the road? Perhaps it´s just 40° to cold brrrrrrrr....
There is just one last thing to say: Thank you guys for giving us such a great time. You were all part of our experience. See yous next time! Thanks.]]>

Merry Christmas!
We are now in rainy Singapore, which actually is just another big town with huge skyscrapers. It´s not our favourite city, just colourful Chinatown and the Night Safari in the Zoo are great.
Perhaps after 4 weeks travelling in Asia we are full of all the new impressions. We both feel that it´s enough Asia for the moment. ...
Anyway, it´s time to leave and we´re looking forward to go home.]]>

http://www.mymapblog.com/daunander/24_12_08/MouseDeer/Malaysia: 3 in 1
In Malaysia you will find an interesting mix of buddhism, hinduism and islam. In every city are mosques, golden temples with big buddhas and colourful hindu-temples. On the one hand you have this deep tradition of religiosity, but on the other hand there is a big high-tech-society in Kuala Lumpur with the huge Petronas -Towers and mega malls.
But fortunately there is also great nature in Malaysia like the Cameron Highlands with endless fields of tea.]]>

We went to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. We made a 3-day trekking tour through the jungle to the hilltribes. The landscape is beautiful and the people are very friendly. We had the chance to make an elephant ride and bamboo rafting. Both was awesome. We did the trekking with wonderful guys: Ross & Kylie (UK), Simon & Hanne (Denmark), Charly (UK) and Ralf from Germany. Thanks for a great time! Back in Chiang Mai we came up close to the native tigers in the Tiger Kingdom.]]>
