Also we saw too many people dying in the streets. They were just lying there and shaking for hours on the sidewalk until their eyes stayed open and saliva ran down their neck... Nobody really cared and the next morning probably the garbage guys picked them up.

There was two places that actually became lots of positive attention from us: Firstly the flower market, which was by far the most lovingly smelling place in all India! Believe it or not, the country stinks a "bit" and these smells at the flower market were unbelievable uncomparable to the rest of India! Second was the botanical gardens, which was a large and very green structure with all sorts of cool statues, trees or monuments. Plus they served large cucumbers or pinapple slices with chili...

Madurai itself was just a quick stopover for the temple and we continued next night to Bangalore.]]> http://www.mymapblog.com/itchy_feet/11_12_09/wonderful_temples/ http://www.mymapblog.com/itchy_feet/11_12_09/wonderful_temples/ http://www.mymapblog.com/itchy_feet/09_12_09/backwaters!!/ http://www.mymapblog.com/itchy_feet/09_12_09/backwaters!!/ Being through all that we tried leaving at one point. In the same second Lily appeared with tons of drafts for jewelery design. Both of them were then raging against each other, fighting for our attention. We had to listen to Lily screaming her poems while Hanson impressed us with the material for his flying saucer of peace, which got disturbed by Lily showing pictures of her jewelery design in front of our faces and Hanson getting hysterical about Lily and so on...

We survived both of them and even got a police escort home. They were probably wondering where we were coming from and scared the pants of our rickshaw driver...
