Hier ist immer noch alles supi! Ich gehe weiterhin fleißig zum Training und wenn ich Glück habe dann hab ich sogar nächsten Donnerstag meine Gürtelprüfung!!!! Ich geh jetzt seit Anfang März 3 Mal die Woche zum Training, damit ich mehr Übung bekomme. Kristina ist schon wieder in Kanada, die muss am Ende des Monats zu einer Hochzeit.
Ich arbeite im Momet für Mario. Das mit dem Traubenpflücken hat sich sehr schnell erledigt, weil das nicht so einfach ist. Aber er hat mich dann zum Olivenpflücken zurückgeholt. I'm still in Mildura and I still live with Andrea and Gordo. The job at the Pizza Café never really happened, because I?m just not a waitress. That?s okay. Then I worked for about 1 ½ weeks for Bob, Gordo?s brother. He?s a painter. It was a lot of fun to climb on houses and stuff. Unfortunately for me, Bob has a lot of appointments outside of Mildura and it wouldn?t make sense for me to go with him because I?d spent what I earn and more on gas. Well, then Nina and I drove out two Merbein to the Campisi family for two weeks. There we had to trim grape bunches. Too bad that this season is totally ruined so we don?t have a job there anymore since Friday. Today we were supposed to start grape picking for Mario, but St Peter didn?t want us to start today. It was raining all day yesterday so we won?t start till tomorrow.
Otherwise everything is going great. I go twice a week to Taekwon Do and I have new friend living here since Alina moved to Stui.

I'm back in Mildura since 01-03-2010. I left Larras Lee at about noon, since the family goes on vacation soon and I had a chance of a new job here. Alina came back from Melbourne Monday night and we both live with Gordo (Ian's broter) and Andrea and it's fantastic! Alina and I have both our own room and we share a bathroom. We've got a pool outside and over 1000 DVDs to watch!!! Gordo and Andrea are really nice and I'm happy that I can live here!

Alina started working for Mario toaday. I went to the Pizza Café where Keshia (Gordo's and Andrea's daughter) works and filled in a questionnaire. Sometime comes the day of farewell! After I spent Christmas in Mildura, I returned to Larras Lee. I spent a whole week here and tomorrow I'm going back to Mildura. This weeek I re-organized the rooms of James and Isabel and I worked on the Cottage.
Although it was hard work from time to time and I really wanted to quit right away sometimes, I will miss those kids and also Libby and Joff. Auf der Rest Area waren noch 2 Trucks und fast wie erwartet kam einer von den Fahrern an mein Autofenster uns hat geklopft. Ich habe das Fenster nur einen Spalt breit aufgemacht, die eine Hand an der Kurbe und in der anderen mein ausgeklapptes Taschenmesser. Erst schien er sich nur unterhalten zu wollen. Er wollte wissen wo ich hin wollte und woher ich komme. Leider leide ich ab und zu an Amnesie und vergesse woher ich komme und wohin ich will, deswegen sind mir da so Sachen wie Sydney und Adelaide rausgerutscht. Nach ner Weile wollte er dann wissen, ob ich ne Matratze im Auto hab und hat mir angeboten, dass ich in seinem Bunkbett schlafen könnte. Das habe ich dankend abgelehnt! Daraufhin fragte er dann nur noch: ?Wie viel?? und ?Machst du?s nicht mit Truckfahrern?? Das waren die Fragen die mich dazu brachten ihm eine gute Nacht zu wünschen und das Fenster schnell hoch zu kurbeln. Er ist dann 5 Minuten später auch weitergefahren.
Am nächsten Morgen bin ich gegen 6 Uhr weitergefahren. Gegen 9 Uhr war ich dann endlich in Mildura. Dort bin ich dann auch direkt zum Mechaniker gefahren um meinen TÜV zu bekommen und danach dann zu Vic Roads um die Regristrierung umzumelden und den neuen Aufkleber zu bekommen, weil meiner am 13. Januar ausläuft. Um 12 Uhr hatte ich alles erledigt und diesmal ohne Probleme!

Yesterday evening I left Larras Lee, to drive to Mildura to get the rego (registration) transferred to my name. The drive was pretty lonely, but music and my French audio trainer made it a little bit fun!
At about 11 pm I was a few miles past Hay and stopped at a Rest Area to stay the night there, sleeping in the car. There were two trucks parked there as well and almost as expected one of the truckers came up and knocked on my window. I just opened it a little bit. Holding on to the handle with one hand and grabbing my unfolded pocket knife with the other. At first he just wanted to talk. Asked me where I came from and where I was going. Unfortunately I sometimes get amnesia, so I guess I let slip that I came from Sydney and was going to Adelaide. After a while he wanted to know, if I had a mattress in my car and offered me to spend the night in his bunk bed. I refused politely. Then he only asked me two more questions: ?How much?? and ?Don?t you do it with truckers?? These two questions led to me wishing him a good night and closing up the window very quickly. He drove on after 5 minutes.
The next morning I started driving at 6 am and got to Mildura by 9. I went to the mechanic straight away to get my roadworthy and afterwards to Vic Roads to transfer the rego and get my new sticker since mine is gonna be invalid January 13. At noon I was done with everything without any problems!

Libby, die kids und ich haben den Weihnachtsbaum zusammengebaut und geschmückt. Ja, richtig gelesen, zusammengebaut! Der Baum ist aus Plastik und man kann ihn in alle Einzelteile zerlegen!
James füttert inzwischen Bowie, sodass ich nur noch nachgucken muss ob er es getan hat. Ich habe dafür aber noch immer die Hunde und die Pferde, die ich jeden Tag mit Wasser versorgen muss.
Joff und ich sind an einem Tag auf drei Koppeln gefahren, um dort die Schafe und Rinder mit Molasses (Rum-Zucker-Gemisch, wird vermutlich ganz anders geschrieben) zu versorgen. Die brauchen dass, weil die kein nahrhaftes grünes Grass bekommen. Die letzte Koppel durfte ich dann alleine machen. Ich bin den Truck mit den zwei schweren Containern gefahren und Joff ist mir dem Traktor (Gabelstapler) hinter mir her gefahren, weil wir die Container um die Schafbehälter zu füllen hoch gehoben werden muss. Das ganze haben wir dann nach 3 Tagen nochmal gemacht, diesmal allerdings mit James und Isabel, weil die Schulferien schon angefangen hatten.
Ja, Schulferien haben angefangen. Das kann ganz schön nervig sein, die kids den ganzen Tag zu Hause zu haben. Aber mit ein paar Schatzsuchen und anderen Kindern zum Spielen sind auch die Ferien zu ertragen.
Ach ja, das hätte ich fast vergessen! Wir waren noch auf einer Dorfversammlung, die hieß Weihnachtsbaum (Christmastree). Santa Claus kommt da im Flugzeug und schmeißt Süßkram aus dem Flugzeug. Ein endlos langer Abend! Nachher kommt Santa Claus dann auf dem Motorrad vorbei und gibt jedem Kind von 1 bis 12 ein Geschenk. Leider hat er mir nicht geglaubt, dass ich noch 12 bin. Nächstes Mal vielleicht!

It has been a while again since I last wrote something. I have to admit this time, that I was too lazy to write. I sat in front of the computer a couple of times, but there was always something better to do, somehow?
Well, the last couple weeks have been nice, although Christmas spirit is all around, and I just don?t feel like Christmas, because it?s way too hot!
Libby, the kids and I put the Christmas tree together and decorated it. Yes, we had to put it together, since it?s a plastic one which can be taken apart in a lot of pieces!
James feeds Bowie now, so I only have to check if he did it! And of course I still have to give the dogs and horses their water.
Joff and I drove out to three paddocks one day. We had to fill up some feeders with Molasses (Rum-Sugar-Mixture, which is probably spelled differently) for the sheep and cattle. They need this stuff since they don?t get any nutritious green grass. I was allowed to do the last paddock by myself. I drove the truck with the two containers and Joff drove the tractor since we had to lift up the container to fill up the sheep feeder. We had to do the whole thing again three days later, but this time with Isabel and James since summer break had started,
Yes, summer break started. That can be really annoying having all kids at home all day long. But a few treasure hunts and a couple of kids over to play with takes care of that problem!
Oh, I almost forgot! We went to a town assembly, called Christmas tree. Santa Claus came in an aeroplane and threw candy out of it. It was a long evening! Later Santa Claus came by on a motorbike and gave every child between 1 and 12 years of age a present. Unfortunately he didn?t believe me that I was still 12. Well, maybe next time!

Ich habe es inzwischen schon einmal komplett gestrichen, muss aber noch einmal streichen, weil es vorher blau und lila war und das durch das weiß durchscheint. Außerdem habe ich das Badezimmer im Cottage gefliest.
Ich war einen Tag zusammen mit Joff bei seinem Bruder auf der Farm. Die Schafe mussten gestutzt werden. Das heißt das Scheerer, einen Teil der Wolle vom Kopf des Schafes scheeren und die ganze Wolle um den Hintern herum. Ich musste die Wolle aufkehren und auf den Sortiertisch legen. Auch wenn es sich einfach anhört es ist sehr anstrengend und es war extrem heiß im Schuppen! Es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und ich fand es auch sehr interessant endlich mal zu sehen wie das Scheeren wirklich funktioniert.
Ach ja, ich war übrigens auch im Kino! An meinem halben freien Tag bin ich nach Orange gefahren und habe da morgens NEW MOON geguckt. Komischerweise waren da 2 Babys und 3 Kleinkinder auch mit im Film. Irgendwie ist Dienstags morgens ein Muttertag, wo Mütter günstiger ins Kino kommen. Der Film war super und die Kids waren auch alle ganz lieb und leise!!!
Ich habe seit letzten Samstag endlich ein Auto! Martin und Nina haben sich einen Van ca 180km von hier entfernt gekauft und haben mir dann ihren Ford Falcon gebracht, den ich dann gekauft habe! Ich bin jetzt also endlich mobil und kann mir in näherer Zukunf Ayers Rock angucken fahren.
Ich war einige Male mit den Kindern in Molong im Pool schwimmen, wobei George das Wasser nicht ganz so toll findet, aber Isabel lernt sehr schnell! Ich habe ihr etwas Brustschwimmen beigebracht. James ist nicht so sehr daran interessiert schwimmen zu lernen, er meint er kann das schon alles, wobei man sagen muss, dass ein Hund besser schwimmt als er ;)
Einige Spielplatzbesuche mit Isabel und George habe ich auch hinter mich gebracht. Wenn ich jemals einen Spielplatz baue, dann mache ich die Häuser und Burgen und so weiter so groß, das ein Erwachsener drin stehen kann!!! Spaß gemacht hat es trotzdem vorallem weil wir aufpassen mussten, dass wir nicht von den Rittern angegriffen werden und wir durften natürlich auch nicht ins Wasser fallen :P
James ist jetzt ein Mitglied des Molong Cricket Teams und muss deshalb auch zu Hause kräftig trainieren. Auch wenn ich fast keine Ahnung von Cricket habe und mir erstmal im Internet ein paar Regeln angelesen habe, bin ich sein persönlicher Trainer zu Hause. Er macht sich ganz gut im Schlagen, das Werfen müssen wir noch üben:)
Ansonsten habe ich nur die üblichen Aufgaben gehabt, wie Wäsche waschen, die Küche täglich saubermachen, Essen für die Kinder machen und Bowie, das Kalb, füttern.

You probably wonder what I have been doing the last two weeks. Well, I?ve been really busy. One of my tasks was to get the pool running again. This was a lot of work. At first the whole family helped me to clean the liner, but after an hour they realized that brushing it down had no effect whatsoever. So I cleaned it by myself with the high-pressure cleaner. I had to pump out the water with Joff from time to time. The pool didn?t want to make my life easy at all. I had filled half way three times. The first time the liner came off, the second time the floor wasn?t straight enough and the third time I discovered some holes I had to patch up. Joff and I finally repaired the pump yesterday and the pool is working fine now!
Another task was to work on a room in the Cottage. I got it painted once, but I have to do it again, because the room was painted blue and purple before and you can see the old (true) colors shining through. I also tiled the bathroom in the Cottage.
One day I went to Will?s farm, Joff?s brother, to help crutching sheep. I was there to sweep up the wool and put it on the sorting table. It doesn?t sound like hard work, but I was really exhausted afterwards and it was really hot in the shed. It was fun and interesting to see the shearers work.
Oh, I was at the movies one morning as well. I went on my half day off to Orange and watched NEW MOON in the morning. The funny thing was that it was rated M (for mature) and there were 2 babies and three toddlers in the movie with me. Tuesday is obviously some kind of mothers-get-in-cheaper-day. The movie was awesome and the kids were nice and quiet!!!
I own a car since last Saturday. Martin and Nina bought themselves a van from a guy who lives about 100miles from here. So they brought their Ford Falcon over here and I bought it. Now I?m finally mobile and can drive and visit Ayers Rock in the near future.
I was a couple of times swimming with the kids in the Molong Pool. George doesn?t like the water that much, but Isabel learns rather quickly! I tought her some breast stroke and she is doing great! James is not that interested in learning how to swim, he reckons he can swim, but to be honest a dog swims better than him ;)
A couple of visits to the playground with Isabel and George were also part of the program. If I ever build a playground, I?ll make the houses and castles and so on big enough so an adult can stand up straight in them!!! It still was a lot of fun, especially since we had to watch out not to be attacked by the knights and not to fall in the water of course :P
James is now a member of the Molong Cricket Team and he has to practice at home quite a lot. Although I nearly know nothing about Cricket and I had to research some rules online, I?m his personal coach at home. He is doing really great at batting, but we have to practice throwing the ball a lot :)
Otherwise I just had to do my usual tasks like doing the laundry, cleaning the kitchen on a daily basis, preparing food for the kids and feeding Bowie, the calve.

Today I had a lot to do! At first I cleaned one room at the cottage so it could be painted. Then I cleaned up the laundry room and at the end I cleaned up the kitchen like every day. All in all it was really exhausting and hot! We had 113 Fahrenheit!

Libby went for a bike ride this morning while I went to the playground with Isabel and George. At about 10.30 am we went to a café to get some ice cream with Libby.
In the afternoon we went to another family?s pool. There were 8 kids there and three adults, including me. We had a lot of fun! Later we watched James during cricket practice.

Ein halber Tag in Orange. Ich habe mir erstmal eine Telstrasimkarte geholt und dann neues Guthaben für meine Vodaphone Karte. Dann habe ich mit fast allen Leuten in Australien, die ich kenne, telefoniert und bin ein bisschen durch Orange gelaufen. Um 14.20h kam dann der Bus zurück. Alles in allem war es ein netter Tag.

Today I went to Molong with Libby and George. Libby dropped me off at the bus stop and I had to wait an hour for the bus to come. While I was waiting I found out that somebody had an unsecured network close by and I shortened my wait by surfing the internet.
When I got on the bus I showed the bus driver my Plasma Donation ID and told him it was a student ID so I only had to pay AUD 3.30 instead of AUD 6.60! Half a day in Orange! At first I bought myself a Telstra simcard and after that I bought some minutes for my vodaphone card. Then I called about everybody I know in Australia and walked through Orange. At 2.20pm I took the bus back to Molong. All in all a very great day!

Eigentlich sollte ich mitkommen um auf die Kinder aufzupassen, aber da alle anderen auch ihre Kinder dabei hatten, hat sich das sehr schnell erledigt. Ich habe dann einfach mitgeholfen und durfte sogar Truck fahren!!! Die Kinder standen nachher alle auf der Ladefläche. Ich habe dann auf das BBQ verzichtet und George zu seinem Mittagsschlaf nach Hause gebracht.

Today we had to go to the next door neighbor to help redo their garden. I was supposed to watch the kids over there but since all the other had their kids with them as well, I wasn?t needed. SO I pitched in and helped with the garden! I was allowed to drive the truck!!! The kids later climbed all on the back of the truck for a ride. I took George back home for his nap before the BBQ started.

Home alone again! Today I tidied up and cleaned the veranda room and in between I did the laundry. You can look at the before and after pictures and then add about 100.4 Fahrenheit!

Ich hatte heute viel zu tun! Grundreinigung der Küche! Hat fast den ganzen Tag gedauert und danach war ich dann total KO! Als sauber kann ich die Küche immer noch nichzt bezeichenen, aber es ist schon einmal ein Anfang!
Gegen 16.30h bin ich dann mit den Kindern wieder auf der Wasserrutche gewesen.

Alone on the farm! Starting at 9 I was all by myself. I had a lot to do today! Cleaning the kitchen to a minimum! It took almost all day and I was dead afterwards! I still can?t truly certify the kitchen as clean, but it?s a start!
At about 4.30pm I went outside with the kids to play on the waterslide.

Today I was at the farm with Isabel, George and Libby. Isabel and George went with me to get the mail at about 10 o?clock. The mail only comes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Tuesdays here. Afterwards I played with Isabel and George outside and on my waterbed until they had to go for their nap at noon,
Later we put up the waterslide outside and the kids had a lot of fun! James joined in at about 4 pm.

Danach habe ich dann das Geschirr gespült, was auf der Spüle stand und die Counter in der Küche sauber gemacht.
Um 16:30 sind alle dann zurück gekommen. Libby hat dann Abendessen für die Kinder gemacht und danach war dann Badezeit. Gegen 19:00 hieß es dann Bettzeit!
Joff hat dann für uns das Abendessen gekocht und für uns gab es dann gegen 19:30 Abendessen. Um 20:30 ist Libby dann ins Bett gegangen und auch ich bin in mein Zimmer gewandert. Ich habe übrigens ein Queensize Wasserbett! Es ist traumhaft!!!

The first day! Libby and Joff told me to just have a look around today and get to know the house a bit. James, Isabel and Libby are in school till 4pm and George is at daycare. Joff is working on the farm and drops in from time to time. At first I had a look around. Just to see where everything is.
It soon began to be boring so I watched some DVDs and later on I did the dirty dishes which were in the sink and wiped down all the counters.
Around 4.30pm everybody came back home. Libby cooked dinner for the kids and after dinner it was bath time. About 7pm the kids had to go to bed!
Joff cooked dinner for us and we had dinner at about 7.20pm. Libby went to bed at 8.30pm and I went to my room. I?m sleeping on a queen-size waterbed! It is a dream!!!

Nach einer halben Stunde waren wir dann am Ziel: Larras Lake in Larras Lee! Nicht lachen, die Farm heißt Larras Lake und der Ort heißt Larras Lee.
Dort habe ich dann den Rest der Familie kennengelernt: Joff (Vater), James (7 Jahre) und George (1 Jahr) und natürlich Russel den Hund (jackrussel;)!

After an endless train- and bus ride I eventually arrived in Molong. I was the only one who got off the bus there and I soon found out why. In the 10 minutes I waited for Libby only three cars passed on the main street. This town seems to be dead! At least there isn?t much going on around here.
After Libby arrived, I immediately met Isabel (5 years), since she had come with Libby to pick me up.
After half an hour we arrived on the farm: Larras Lake in Larras Lee! Don?t laugh! The farm?s name is Larras Lake and the village name is Larras Lake.
There I met the rest of the family: Joff (father), James (7 years) and George (1 year) and of Russel the dog (jackrussel;)!
