so sorry for the long silence, but to be honest since I came back to Australia, I have been a bit unlucky. I flew from Christchurch to Townsville via Brisbane, hoping to do some dives here and also visiting Magnetic Island. Once I arrived here, it turned out that the weather (lots of winds) is not good enough. So there were no boats to go out to the reef. You could also find the Slope Point here which is the most southerly point on New Zealands South Island. on one of the beautful beaches here I was just experimenting with my camera when suddenly a huge seal came out of the water and slept at the beach :)
