Yesterday we had to pack our bags and leave though as the possibility of serious diseases was increasing. Another bus ride of 23 hours later we landed in Salta this morning and finally finally this seems like a place to chill out. Its Christinas birhtday today, so we gonna hang out, celebrate with some good empanadas and chew some koka leefs. This is it"!
Chicos, abrazos grandes!!!]]>

http://www.mymapblog.com/pampelmuse/08_03_10/Salta/Buenos Aires part 2: B to the A
Went to Tigre today and saw the nastiest spiders ever. My trip was rather short as my blood pressure reached an unhealthy level after this spider family build its net in the middle of the way...GRRR!For teh rest it was really nice, a bit like Venice in teh jungle for the fortunate rich people of the area...they shoudl afford someone to kill the mosquitos...

You might have heard it, Chile was shaking last night and so was a big part of Arentina. It was my ast night in San Rafael and being on nightshift I was wide awake when the furniture was moving and some of the guest ran outside. As my brain is not working great at this time of the ight I first did not get it and thought it is just some effect of working at night but the my Spanish vocabulary was enough to get while everybody was quite hysteric. But it really is a nasty feeling...almost likeyou wanna throw up..didnīt though..
I am evacuating myself today, my bus to Buenos Aires is leaving in two hours and then it is back to teh big bad city. More news will follow from there...]]>

http://www.mymapblog.com/pampelmuse/27_02_10/earthquake/San Rafael: How bad is it?
1. I do not believe in God
2. I dont drink coffee
Apparently, we were exchanging some interest and trying to make the night end, and hey yeah I love to have a good discussion about God, which ended VERY quickly when I told her I basically believe in nada and wooden box is the perspective...and there is nothing going on in this wooden box!
We had a blast last night, tonight I am working alone...

My special deal incluces free accomodation and partly food, in exchange for doing some stuff for them. It s awesome because there are only Argentinians here and finally I stay in one place longer than 2 days and can save up some cash before we rock the north next week.
But it was really interesting to see, espcially as I was the only tourist and the only one, being one meter taller than everybody else, not knowing the words of the national him.
I am on my break now, so I know what I have to do...at the same time find a way to get rid of that guysleeping next to him...he is snorring like a wild beast...Dale ches, nos oimos!]]>

http://www.mymapblog.com/pampelmuse/21_02_10/Getting_busy/Mendoza: hui!
Great 20-hour bus ride again, but this time I was traveling 5*, not forgetting my thrombosis socks. Yes! I love the buses over here, this time the highlights included a common Bingo session ( the price was a bottle of wine, very necesario when doing a trip like that!!), a bus breakdown and the public embarassement of a British guy because he did not get the message what are the Do's and Don'ts when using a bus toilet. Amazing!
When we arrived in Mendoza it was time to get fried again and of course whats best to do in 30 degrees?? Yes! Do it again and hike up a mountain. The next two days were mor eof my taste with one awesome winetour on Monday. We basically were a group of four, lend soem bikes and off we went from Bodega to Bodega ( officially we were on a mission of winetasting, inoffially it was trying to get druk for free). It worked and was so much fun! While we were drunk we already took teh chance to book our Paragliding flight for the next day. hui!
But I am glad to tell you I am in one piece, all the boday parts where they belong and it was great! At first the perspective to jump off a 2000m mountain with nothing more than this little hombre and a parachute was not too tempting but once we managed to jump it was amazing!. You saw the Andes on one side and Mendoza on the other and we were just crusing around there. I hope I can do it again, as Berlin's mountain range is not too tempting to do it....
Today the ways of me and my travel buddy are parting and I am on my own, going to San Rafael. I have one more week before I have to go back to Buenes Aires and I am keen on chilling a bit, not being on the run all the time, so I will get homy there for a week...have to run now to catch my bus. Hope snow chaos Europe is backing off!]]>

http://www.mymapblog.com/pampelmuse/17_02_10/hui!/Esquel: Ahhhh Chile
So we lifted the finger and managed to hitchhike the 160 km there and back and we did not leave out any mode of transport: trucks, cars, mobile homes, and the back of a SUV ( which is awesome in the rain). Basically it was catastrophe tourism and there was more than one time I felt bad about it. Anyway we managed to come back and after one good night of sleep we are ready to move on to Bariloche..capital of Beer and chocolate! YEESSS! Sounds like my place to be, so in case communication is disrupted I am busy.
And by the way I had to go trekking some more...who knew that the difference between trekking and taking a walk is huge, it is actualy exhausting and I will probably not do it again, my version of it is taking a walk...these are my last words before I throw myself into the sun, waiting for the bus...]]>

http://www.mymapblog.com/pampelmuse/10_02_10/Ahhhh_Chile/Esquel: ESQUEL
After an overkill of marine life, i crossed the country to go to Esquel, a small small small village stuck in the Andes. Found the nicest hostel ever and the last days I spend with eating and walking,..not thatwalking is one of my favourite disciplines but I had no choice and needed t o explore the Nationalpark that is close by...so there I was running up and down the mountain, cursing and asking myself what is so much fun about trekking. Also, I was walking with this Argentinien girl, so while concentrating not to fall, Spanish was all around...multitasking deluxe kicking my ass so the evening was dedicated to food !!!
Maņana is time to keep on moving, although I am not too sure yet where to go. Guess I will take the chance to cross the border and go to Chile for a couple of days. Vamos a ver, I keep you updated!!!]]>

http://www.mymapblog.com/pampelmuse/07_02_10/ESQUEL/Buenos Aires: Puerto Madryn part 2
Monday I went to the Peninsula Valdes, actually known for its whales passing by from August until December. Those guys are hanging around Antartica right now but the left-overs were also not too bad Penguins, Seals and sealions. It was really amazing! Especially as we went into the freezing Atlantic to snorkel around a bit and suddenly just right under me there came this seal swimming by. Pussy Rebecca of course was scared but only for a minute as I found out he did not want to eat me. It is really awesome! Definitely want to come back one day when the whales are on.
Tomorrow night I enter the bus again to go to Esquel, a place in teh Andes and hopefully my starting point to go to the glaciers, although my equipment suks pretty bad and I am not ready for the warmth of Buenos AIres neither for the cold of Calafate, but hey with 3 plastic bags, one knife and some chewing gum it will be truly amazing....YEAH!
Ah si, zum Thema Fotos kann ich nur sagen, dass ich mein Kabel vergessen hab und sich deswegen alle noch ein wenug gedulden muessen... mierda!
Kusjes to you all]]>

http://www.mymapblog.com/pampelmuse/03_02_10/Puerto_Madryn_part_2/Puerto Madryn: Bus to trombosis
After getting fried in Buenos Aires last week I am really glad I made it too freezing ( 25š) Patagonia. Friday we grilled about 3 cows and had a big goodbye party in BA almost kind of sad that I had to leave as it was big fun with the people over there, but its time to explore more of the southern hemisphere...By the way it is official now: I like steak! Got a real Argenitnien brainwash and there we go...
Tomorrow Peninsula Valdes is on the plan, when I survive my first night in the 8 people dorm. Already met some of them....of course Germans going wild! So if I survived that wonder of nature I will be moving on to the next on with Penguines, Orkas and all that stuff. They dont know if I am coming yet but they should be prepared!!!
Have to move myself now, my 25 year old legs disagree with the bustrip, so walking might loosen the blood clots. I hope you guys are all doing fine, be strong against the winter and if you need a break, I am right over here!!!!

- anscheinend 0 Ahnung von Spanisch
- Verlust 1 Hautschicht
